Come on a Coles Bay / Freycinet Food & Wine Tour, Picking you up from your accommodation at 11am on a full day journey of Gastronomical Proportions.
Basking in the sunshine at 42 degrees south is one of the leading Wine Regions of the world for cool climate wine. Freycinet Coast, (also known as the East Coast Wine Region) boast more sunny days than any other part of Tasmania. This leads to wines with great natural acidity, flavour concentration, longevity, bouquet and of course taste.
We visit Freycinet Marine Farm sales room & 3 Vineyard Cellar Doors. With more jaw dropping views and wines than bends in the road, immerse yourself in our rich history and culture. All of the Vineyards are still owned by the original settlers that forged their way into Tasmanian history in the 1800’s. Visit Convict built cellar doors, see how the pioneers lived and learn how their descendants are making their own piece of history.
Indulge in the mouth watering Tasmanian delicacies that have made our amazing state a wine and food lovers paradise. You will get to feast on all kinds of delights like Oysters, Mussels, Scallops, Walnuts, Cheese, Pate`s, Bread, Salad, Seasonal Fruit, Olive Oils, Smoked Salmon or Trout, Salami, Terrine . . . just to mention a few.
A gourmet lunch is provided over looking Milton Vineyard, topped off with an ice cream or coffee and chocolate at any one of a few locations depending on the day.

1.15pm Arrive at Springvale Vineyard

Hosted in a convict built stable Circa 1842 you will taste;
Enjoy the magic of food and wine pairing techniques with some amazing Tasmanian delicacies matched carefully with the Spring Vale wines. Pick up a few tricks to host an amazing dinner party!
Fourth Flight of Tastings
1:30pm Arrive at “Milton Vineyard”
“One of Freycinet Coast most picturesque cellar doors with outstanding wines”
A fabulous setting overlooking the Vineyard, talk farming and vineyard management during your tasting while Brad sets up lunch with your favourite glass out of the Milton Selection including.
Enjoy sumptuous platters of local cheese, pate`s, smoked meats etc with freshly baked bread, Rocket and Walnut salad on the deck or inside at Milton. Check out pictures below to whet your appetite!
Fifth Flight of Tastings
3:30pm After lunch we top off the day with a local dessert

Depart at 4:15pm to snooze and drift off to chatter all the way home in the air-conditioned bus.
We return to Coles Bay by 5pm
